🐔 Chicken Coop Progress Update! Construction is moving along on our new coop that will house up to 1,000 chickens! The lower half of the walls is built with bricks we made on site, and the upper half will be screened for ventilation and protection. Next up: a fenced, covered yard so the chickens can enjoy fresh air, shade, and safety. This is more than a coop—it’s a step toward food security and sustainability. Hunger is one of the biggest challenges in Sierra Leone, and this project brings us closer to change. 💪🌾 #FoodSecurity #SierraLeone #ModelFarm #ChickenCoop #EndHunger (fb)

Our Mission The mission of SHARP is to eliminate poverty and socioeconomic barriers to wellbeing caused by climate vulnerability in Sierra Leone. Emergency Response to Flood Victims Slum communities flood multiple times during the rainy season every year. Our team responds by providing food clothing toiletries and bedding to help victims in desperate need of food and dry clothing. Sustainable Agriculture We provide training and seed and tool loans to small farmers.
