Yesterday, longtime community member, Laura, surprised international volunteer, Rani, by celebrating the eve of Diwali in the most thoughtful way. Laura made a beautiful rangoli with flour and sandalwood powder, decorated it with flowers, and placed a diya in the center. Rani shared that in that moment, she felt like she was back home in India and was so grateful for the opportunity to share her culture with fellow community members. (fb)

Kourtney is our dedicated Harvest Kitchen Manager, and her role is truly at the heart of what we do. She not only coordinates but also leads the community in preparing delicious, nourishing lunches four days a week, creating a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone who walks through our doors. Kourtney is celebrating her birthday surrounded by friends and family followed by a well-deserved spa day to relax and recharge. We’re so grateful for all that Kourtney brings to Harvest Kitchen.
