Meet Deron and his father Kevin! When Deron was born, the doctors found that he had a condition called Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA) where the main arteries in the body were reversed. When the doctors said he wouldn't survive if he didn't receive the treatments and surgeries he needed, Kevin and his wife's hearts just dropped. Kevin was by Deron's side through multiple complications, hospitalizations, and surgeries - sometimes even traveling long distances to be by his son's side even if it meant traveling alone.
