Today is World Ovarian Cancer Day 🦋🎗️Established in 2013 by a group of leaders from ovarian cancer advocacy organizations around the world, May 8 – World Ovarian Cancer Day, is the one day of the year we globally raise our voices in solidarity in the fight against ovarian cancer. This year in the United States it is estimated that over 20,000 women will receive a new ovarian cancer diagnosis. By 2050, projections indicate that 8 million lives will be lost to ovarian cancer. Without a screening or early detection test, we must all come together to raise awareness about the disease. NormaLeah Ovarian Cancer Initiative is poised to just this - to raise awareness in communities, connect with patients in the midst of their journey, support survivors, and continue to make a difference in the lives around us.
