Eligibility and Application

To be eligible for support, applicants must meet specific criteria:

• They must be parents or legal guardians grieving the death of a child from 20 weeks gestation to dependent in young adulthood (up to 26 years of age).
• The child's death must have occurred within the last 18 months.
• Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota and have a current and specific financial need directly related to the loss of the child.

Applications are reviewed weekly by a gift approval team. Approved gifts are paid directly to third-party vendors, and the foundation does not provide direct counseling services.

Impact

Since its inception, the foundation has made a significant impact by providing financial support to hundreds of families and sponsoring numerous grief therapy sessions and retreats.

Governance and Financing

The BeliEve Foundation operates as a 501(C)(3) organization, with all donations going directly towards assisting families. The founders cover administrative costs, ensuring that every penny of donations is used to help those in need.
