Our team always finds ways — big and small — to go above and beyond for the wildlife in our care. During a routine hose-down of a duck enclosure at our Pilar & Chuck Bahde Wildlife Center, one of our staff members noticed the ducks quickly waddling over to enjoy the spray. So she paused to let them enjoy it to their hearts' content, splashing, cooling off and making the most of the moment. It’s small moments like these that show the compassion and attentiveness our wildlife team brings to every patient — from owls to opossums to playful ducks.
