Experience lifesize courage On June 6 1944 Allied troops battled insurmountable odds to secure freedom for the world. At our aweinspiring memorial we share their stories and pay tribute to their valor fidelity and unimaginable sacrifice. Ways to Get Involved Carry The Flag Whether its volunteering to make a difference for others in our communities supporting todays military volunteers as they defend freedom around the world or simply visiting the National DDay Memorial and teaching future generations about the importance of service we all have a duty to keep the spirit of DDay alive each and every day. Words From Visitors Perhaps the most informative and amazing memorial of its kind that I have ever seen.
