Home Who We Are Get Involved More More At TRUE Center we increase access to affordable traumafocused evidencebased therapy and prevention. Serving DC metropolitan area children and families. Almost Half of DC Children Have Experienced Trauma Every child deserves equal access to treatment and prevention services that can best support their physical and emotional health. But while almost half of DC children have experienced trauma most children who need mental health support after trauma dont receive it a gap that is even more pronounced for children of color.
