We address the needs of homeless individuals and connect them to services to rebuild their lives. To provide immediate relief and long term solutions for the most vulnerable members of our community by preventing, combating, and reducing homelessness within the Capital Region.

Renewing hope. Rebuilding lives. The Homeless and Travelers Aid Society of the Capital District prevents reduces and combats homelessness within the New York State Capital Region. Also knows as HATAS we address the shortterm need for shelter food and basic support while never losing sight of the more permanent need for affordable housing employment food security education treatment and a general sense of wellbeing.
