Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue of Minnesota

Update: $546 raised! Amazing! Thank you! NAAAZZZ REEID!! Who doesn't love the 6th man of the year? Ok, so it's not the real Naz Reid, but this Naz Reid needs our help. He is the sweetest boy who found himself at local animal control where he unfortunately tested positive for heartworm. Heartworm is a deadly disease if left untreated. It requires 30 days of antibiotics followed by 3 injections given over the course of 30 days. During treatment and for 6-8 weeks following it, the dog must remain on strict limited activity. Heartworm is also expensive. Not only does the treatment cost money, but there are costs associated with a longer term foster dog including all the food and supplies needed to support that dog during their time in our care. We are not a big rescue with deep pockets. Every single dollar matters to us. We do have to say no to lot of cases, but we like to help when we can. Our goal is to raise $500.
