As many of you know, GEO has close friends and colleagues in Ukraine. We spoke to Roman in Ivano-Frankivsk who is thankfully still receiving calls and is with his wife Kateryna. They are taking in friends and family fleeing from the East but Putin's forces are closing in on the Western cities too. He re-iterated that the major issues for them now are: 1. Support of the massively outnumbered Ukrainian military who are doing their best to defend their country. The best ways to do this are to directly fund the Ukrainian armed forces, such as via this official website: https://bank.gov.ua/.../natsionalniy-bank-vidkriv... 2. Co-ordinated humanitarian relief. Although individual donations are helpful, these must be co-ordinated to be effective, and the best route is via your local Ukrainian embassy. Transport directly into Ukraine is very difficult so most donations are being coordinated through centres in Poland.
