Today, we celebrate Dr. Jane Goodall’s 91st birthday. Here is a message from Jonathan Granoff, President of Global Security Institute: There is a living web of life. Too many believe that their individual thread is somehow separate from the entire weave. This is an illusion. The weave is One and miraculously the web stretches back in time and continues into the future, if we act responsibly. Few realize its preciousness. When they do they understand Albert Einstein's statement: “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” Not only is Jane a living miracle, but as she lives and reminds us of who we really are, we remember that each of us are also part of the precious miracle. When Jane, and now you and I, say "we", we don't just mean our family, our nation, or even just us humans, but we mean everyone and everything in this living web of miraculous precious life. The best way to thank those who inspire awe and appreciation is to dedicate oneself to protecting and nurturing this miracle. Thank you Jane.
