Exciting news is on the horizon: Fishing For The Mission 22 is gearing up for its next major fundraising event at the Point Independence Yacht Club in Onset — "Fishing for the Mission 22s: Claws for a Cause – 2nd Annual Lobster and Steamer Boil." This important event will support vital programs for our nation’s heroes through our resource center at 47 Main Street, Buzzards Bay. Don’t miss this memorable day, featuring our co-host Captain Casey of What's Left Charters, along with UMass Dartmouth Dining and Massachusetts Maritime Dining on behalf of Chartwells Higher Ed. This event will offer two seating options, both accompanied by live music from Cantunz Steel Drum, enhancing your experience. The evening seating will also feature special entertainment by Frank Santos Jr., an adult-themed comedy hypnotist show. Location: Point Independence Yacht Club, 15 Independence Ln, Onset, MA 02558 Seating Options: Day Seating: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Food served from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM) Cost: $60 Evening Seating: 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM (Food served from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM) Includes entertainment by Frank Santos Jr., Comic Hypnotist Cost: $80 Ticket includes: 1½ lobster 1 pound of steamers Cup of clam chowder Sausage, corn, potatoes, and sides Last year, all 250 tickets sold out in less than a week — don’t miss your chance to grab yours before they’re gone.
