Protecting Land & Nature - Greenbelt

Greenbelt works with individuals, municipalities and partner organizations to conserve local land. Essex County Greenbelt is a non-profit land trust dedicated to conserving the farmland, wildlife habitat and scenic landscapes of Essex County. Greenbelt has conserved nearly 17,000 acres of local land and has been directly involved in protecting 75% of the acreage conserved in the past ten years.
