This upbringing was instrumental in building a musical career that has bridged Classical Jazz and Latin American music and helped him to discover ways to make classical music education more accessible to minorities. As onehalf of the Brasil Guitar Duoalong with Douglas Lorahe won the 2006 Concert Artists Guild Competition launching an international career with performances on four continents.
