We are pleased to share this 3rd in a series of Health Equity Fairs as part of two grants (2023-2024) from the City of Long Beach, and the Long Beach Department of Health. It has been a labor of love putting it together, but we are fortunate to also have the tremendous support of District1 Councilwoman Mary Zendejas, and the Museum of Latin American Arts (MOLAA), in addition to the volunteers who give tirelessly to be of service, and straight from the heart! Health education and local collaboration to empower the underserved Local Programs SHE Scholarships SHE is currently hosting 2 scholarship programs the Diversity Scholarship for students from underrepresented demographics and the Inspiration Scholarship for students making their way into medical school. Our aim is to support our local communities by helping students reach their academic goals. Health Fairs SHE is an organization that is founded on health equity. Local initiatives such as health fairs focusing on health education and mentoring provide our volunteers the opportunity to contribute to our communities in need.
