Julieta , one of our long-term residents at the Rescue house/LOAD house! Chances are if you donated a toy over the years, it went to Julieta 🧸🦴 A few days ago, it was noted that she had a mass on her abdominal area . We are making an appointment for her to be seen by the vet and possibly remove the mass and send it for pathology testing. This was an unexpected medical emergency and expense that came, and we are asking graciously for donations towards julietta's medical visit and surgery. Who knows what other treatment will be required or recommended after . Julieta is a fixture at the LOAD house and greets you with a toy in her mouth day and day out! Diana was rescued 157 days ago. Our neighbors insisted on calling the authorities to "get rid "of the dogs, but we continue to rescue. We continue to nourish them! We continue to hold out hope that they can have a second chance at a good life after abandonment , after life in the streets , after being given up on! Diana was very sick with Payme and was days away from dying in the street due to septic infection of her uterus ! We immediately got her vetted and emergency surgery was performed ! They want the easy way out, to call the police ,to call authorities, to call emergency management to take the dogs and euthanize them just so they don't have to look at them when they drive home from work . Many of them say not to feed them and would rather see a dog skin and bones suffering in the street !Diana was one of the scary stray dogs on the street that they were "petrified" of !This is what we have to deal with, we will always choose compassion, try to ease suffering, and do what is right.
