No School March 1921 North Shore Community School North Shore Community School NSCS is a rural charter school nestled in the woods near the north shore of Lake Superior approximately half way between Duluth and Two Harbors. Established in 2002 the school serves approximately 350 students in grades kindergarten through six. NSCSS mission is to excel in connecting our students academics and learning with their natural and social environments in a nurturing community setting.
