Javonate “Boogie” Carter met the toughest opponent of his life not in the x’s and o’s of the game he loves, but in the halls of @christuschildrens , Hodgkin Lymphoma. With his family, teammates, and his care team by his side, Boogie pushed through every round of chemo with the same grit and faith he brings to the football field. After three months of treatment, Boogie’s scans showed victory. And just like nailing a game-winning field goal, he rang the end-of-treatment bell three times, each ring echoing hope💜, strength🎗️, and resilience🏈. Now, Boogie is gearing up for his eighth-grade football season with a new perspective: if he can beat cancer, he can take on anything.
