AMBASSADORS OF THE MONTH… Our ambassador program thrives on 4 pillars; Awareness, Identification, Referral & Linkages. Our Ambassadors are trained to educate their communities about different disabilities to foster for inclusion-Awareness, Identify children & young adults with intellectual disabilities using screening tools, Link parents to us or credible support systems and most Importantly refer their friends to join the movement of Leaving no more hidden children. Here’s @ekisahenry ‘s latest story; ‘’While on a field trip in Kween district in a remote Village, I randomly met a little cute boy Joshua whom I felt good about. He has an intellectual disability Yet to be diagnosed). His parents had no idea what had befallen their son (During birth they believed it was witchcraft). Until I explained to them that it was all just a myth! I made a sweet friend in Joshua.
