📚 Building a Love for Reading, One Book at a Time! ❤️ Assistance League® of Northern Virginia recently hosted its second Build a Child’s Library event of the school year at Lynbrook Elementary School in Springfield. Nearly 600 excited students from Pre-K through 6th grade each selected a brand-new book to take home — sparking joy, imagination, and a lifelong love of reading! One student captured the excitement perfectly when she peeked in during setup and asked, “Is tomorrow when we get a book to keep?” Her smile when told “Yes!” said it all. Twelve dedicated Assistance League members helped students find their perfect books and proudly sign their names inside the covers — making each one truly their own.
