Today marked another successful year of our annual Beat The Heat event! For over 20 years we have proudly partnered with TXU Energy to help keep our community cool during the scorching Texas summers. This afternoon, we distributed 230 fans to 15 local nonprofit partners serving our community. 🌬️ Need a fan? Just dial 211, option 1 to get connected to help. Thank you to Silverthorne Insurance for providing the space for today’s distribution, to Kim Campbell with TXU Energy, Travis Craver from the Abilene City Council and Jason Groves with Clear Fork Bank for your continued support and presence.
