As you make your plans to celebrate the beauty and bounty of fall at the 33rd Hands & Harvest Festival mark your calendar to hear Furnace Mountain Band on Saturday, October 11 at 3 p.m. at The Highland Center! Furnace Mountain Band has performed throughout the world, from the Yangtze River in China to the banks of the Shenandoah River, where they are the host band of the Watermelon Pickers’ Festival. Furnace Mountain Band plays music from the American Appalachian traditions, as well as original compositions, and songs penned by their favorite song writing friends. #HighlandCountyVA #livemusic #virginiaisformusiclovers #fallfestival (fb)

Home Upcoming Events Newsletter Support The Arts Contact More Located in Highland County Virginia the Highland County Arts Council exists to promote the arts to provide cultural enrichment to the community and to make Highland County an Arts destination. The HCAC believes that the arts are essential to our communities. HCAC supports and encourages artists by holding classes workshops and camps and facilitating regular exhibits and performances. The Highland County Arts Council is a nonprofit organization supported by contributions from members friends community foundations and government organizations.
