The Mission Team finished our last day of ministry. We started early morning and finished late afternoon. God’s Spirit was present all day. We gave the gifts of Shepherd’s Bags in a small school up in the mountains and shared Jesus. The Gospel storybook with the crucifixion story was shared and used as a teaching lesson. It was a joy and a sweet spirit. After lunch we went back to the arena and the guys played basketball with the “mature” ladies league. Tied score but the women wanted to break the tie but found no “takers” to finish the game. 😉 The guys were perfectly happy with a tie. The ladies were Very good players! Later we gave Shepherd’s Bags to a small group of children that meet and practice basketball. They were Bilingual so we had a great time talking and sharing the Plan of Salvation. It’s been a great week. Thank you to all who have prayed for us. Please pray for travel grace for us tomorrow and for the Gospel seeds that were shared this week to grow in the fertile ground of all who heard and for the Word of God to bear fruit that’s been shared and left with the children. Second day of ministry here in the beautiful country of Honduras. We gave Shepherd’s Bags to the children in schools this morning and this afternoon Micah, Nathan and Mark held basketball drills with young men in a huge basketball arena here in the city. Afterward they shared the Gospel and prayed with them. Later we presented basketballs as gifts to be used when practicing basketball with younger children. It shows that any skill that God gives you can be used for His glory. After a long day we traveled to the top of the mountains and ate dinner and saw the Christ over Tegucigalpa. Pray for all the Gospel seeds planted today that God will use those seeds to draw sinners in need of a Savior to Himself. Glory to His Great Name! (fb)
