Music builds confidence and creates wonder. Our very own Mr. Olwamba introduced our Grade 8 students to the recorder. They were excited to begin mastering the new instrument, and the noise carried through the courtyard of Mawewa Primary School. Lives change in circles. Our mentorship coordinator, Collette, oversees our life groups. In these small groups, students can be honest with their struggles, care for one another, and celebrate moments of victory. As we began a new term, students set goals and committed to finishing this year strong. Girls in Kenya are at a higher risk of dropping out, but moments like this strengthen their connection to each other and trustworthy adults. (fb)
