We need your help. This is in addition to the $30,000 we’re trying to fundraise for currently. Two animals are set to have surgery next week and between both it will be about $9,000. That number is staggering and quite honestly very worrisome for us when we were already struggling, as most of you already know. Ophelia came into rescue about a week ago from a Reservation. She’s still a younger pup with a life ahead of her. She was limping upon arrival so X-rays were taken. The X-rays revealed she needs double FHO surgery. Otherwise she could suffer chronic and progressive pain. French Fry came into rescue from MACC a couple weeks ago. He was available to rescues only for quite awhile due to having a heart murmur and luxatting patella’s. Honestly probably wasn’t the smartest decision to take him but too late to dwell on that now. He is absolutely the sweetest boy. But he’s clearly in pain, walks with a limp, and cannot jump very high. This surgery will be life changing for him. We somehow need to raise $9,000 for these two by 11/3. Aside from our current fundraising. It feels impossible to be honest. But without raising this, it puts us in a scary spot.
