🎉 October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) — a time to celebrate the contributions of workers with disabilities and promote inclusive employment practices! Today, we are proud to recognize Sara Flynn, Russell Washington, George Kininmonth, and Tavon Kemp. All of these individuals graduated from Project SEARCH, a program in which the Arc of Putnam County proudly participated, that teaches essential life and work skills to individuals with disabilities, with the ultimate goal of achieving meaningful employment in an integrated work setting. Sarah, Russell, and George have all been successfully employed since graduating in September 2022 and Tavon was recently hired at Beck Ford 🙌 🌟 Sara is employed by Publix as a bagger 🌟 Russell is a tunnel loader at Auto Spa of Palatka 🌟 George works as a shop cleaner at Beck Nissan Service Department 🌟 Tavon works as a shop maintenance technician at Beck Ford All of these remarkable individuals are thriving in their roles and showing the world what true potential looks like when given opportunity and support. 👏 Let’s give a round of applause to these inspiring individuals and a heartfelt thank you to their employers for recognizing their talent, dedication, and value in the workplace.
