This year’s Concert for a Cause honored not only Second Chance Rescue but also served as a heartfelt tribute to their beloved daughter, Melissa, a passionate animal advocate whose spirit continues to inspire us all. We were proud to present Christine Evangelista with the Angel Award for her tireless advocacy. Saving animals not only from shelters but also traveling as far as Southeast Asia to help captive elephants. Her relentless fight against unnecessary suffering is nothing short of inspiring. Our radiant special guest, Melissa Gorga, is no stranger to Second Chance Rescue, and we are deeply thankful for her continued support.
