Another happy customer! Grateful for the opportunity to support the Washington County Farm Bureau in navigating a complex condemnation issue with ODOT. Beginning with the passage of Measure 39 in 2006, OPOA has created the most property owner friendly condemnation laws in the nation. We’re proud of that work, and proud to demand that government treat property owners fairly in condemnation cases. Still, condemnation can be intimidating and opaque— but property owners have a right to clarity, fairness, and just compensation. oregon property owners association WHO WE ARE As Oregons largest property owners association our mission is to protect the right of private property owners to make use of their property. At the legislature and ballot box in the courts working with the media and through our many educational efforts OPOA works to reduce the regulatory barriers that hamper Oregons private property owners and to change Oregons broken landuse system a system unlike any other in the United States. WHO WE FIGHT FOR Private Property Owners We believe overregulating private property violates one of our most basic civil rights the right to own and use property without undue influence from government. From rural landowners to suburban homeowners to largescale developers we help all property owners realize their dream and investments in their land.
