ServiceSource proudly sponsored this year’s 9th Annual Vaaccses - Virginia Association of Community Rehabilitation Programs Provider Conference, joining fellow members in Virginia Beach to collaborate on strengthening support for individuals with disabilities. ServiceSource COO and vaACCSES Board President Ken Crum kicked off an engaging conference agenda focused on learning, connection, and innovation. Sessions encouraged attendees to work together to address the shifting landscape of disability services and tackle systemwide challenges. ServiceSource Executive Director Brenda Richardson and WorkSource Executive Director Chuck McElroy were also in attendance. Thank you to LongHorn Steakhouse for supporting career exploration for students in our High School High Tech Program! For more than 15 years, LongHorn has partnered with our affiliate, Abilities of Florida, to help empower youth with disabilities to explore meaningful job opportunities. Most recently, Longhorn hosted three career exploration events across Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough counties, giving students a behind-the-scenes look at the restaurant industry. Over a shared lunch, LongHorn's managing partners shared real-world insights into key roles — including hospitality, food preparation, and serving — and what it takes to deliver exceptional service and meals.
