Today in 2011, the Brandstad Brothers Farm became permanently protected with an agricultural conservation easement. These two parcels, totaling 174 acres, are located east of the City of Stockton in San Joaquin County. The land is used to grow tree crops, including walnuts and cherries. Today is an incredible reminder of how CFT is achieving its mission to help farmers protect the best farmland in the world. #ProtectingFamilyFarms #FarmlandProtection #CAGrown (fb)
