The NTG is a national 501 c3 nonprofit organization focused on advocating for the needs of aging adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are at risk of or who have been affected by Alzheimers disease and other forms of dementia. We do this through promoting services and support for individuals with intellectual disabilities impacted by dementia and their caregivers. The NTG produces materials such as practice guidelines and screening tools provides training and educational resources offers an online family caregiver support group and provides technical assistance to organizations and agencies wishing to improve their ability to care for this aging population.
