Last week was an eventful one for our president/CEO! Over the course of the week, Dr. Lubwama enjoyed engaging with Black female faculty members at Western Michigan University to discuss the philanthropic partnership between our organizations. This conversation was one of many that have taken place as part of our new Love Where You Live Conversations series, a fun and engaging series that brings community members face-to-face with our president/CEO and allows our organization to better collaborate with our community partners. Dr. Lubwama also hosted our first Celebration of Heritage Dinner with professionals who are part of Kalamazoo’s African diaspora.
