On Aug. 2, Ann Ward was elected as Chair of the Texas Lions Camp Board! What an incredible honor for her and our Club! She was elected to the Executive Committee in 2020, and has worked her way through secretary, treasurer, and third/second and first vice chair positions. She is the first person from Austin Founder Lions Club to hold this position since the camp was founded in 1949! Her theme for the year is "Spotlight on Texas Lions Camp." Too many families of Texas children with special medical needs do not know the camp exists. It's been that way since I joined Lions in 2013, and we are going to work to change it this year! Our club supports Lion Ann Ward and we encourage each Lion far and wide (but mostly from Texas) to support Ann and the camp 💜 Have a wonderful year Lion Ann 🎉🎉🎉 Ann Ward #TexasLionsCamp #weserve #LionsClubsInternational (fb)

Austin Founder Lions Club Austin Founder Lions Club meets every Thursday. Check each weeks program information for meeting time and location. 700 am to 300 pm The Texas Lions Camp Work Day is an opportunity for our Austin Founder Lions Club and friends to help prepare the camp for Texas youth this summer. Our Lions Club will join over 400 Lions from across Texas that are committed to keeping the Texas Lions Camp the jewel of Lionism.
