Acknowledging that here we are again, Agon/Again asks “How do we step forward in ways ancient and new?” “How are we defiant?” “Where do we find joy and compassion in a time of shock and fear?”. Rooted in the generous and lyrical tradition of Isadora Duncan, transformed with a sharp edge of protest and love, 16 diverse performers invite us, in the words of WH Auden, to “make a vineyard of the curse”, together. Introducing the October 18th Performance Party Artists! (Part 1) KELLY TSAI // Tsai is an award-winning artist-performer at the intersection of dance, music, film, photography, and technology. Her solo choreographic work (contemporary, heels, pole, vogue) has been presented at House of Yes, Folly’s Haven (ArtX), CreateART Dance Film Nights, Incredipole, Abrons Art Center, and developed at Movement Research Center. She has performed as a vogue femme performer for the Princess Grace Awards Gala and at the Socrates Sculpture Park. Featured in Huffington Post, PopMatters, and Baeble Music, Lynn has earned nationwide radio play and sync placements on A&E, Netflix, Bravo, and E!. She has performed alongside AJR and Jesse Jo Stark, and appeared at Red Gorilla Festival, CanILive Festival, and NACA Mid-Atlantic.
