Last Friday, we made waves for a cleaner Connecticut River! 🌊 Our community came together for the first annual Elms College Connecticut River Clean Up on September 26, joining the Connecticut River Conservancy's Source to Sea Cleanup - a powerful initiative stretching from Vermont all the way down to Long Island Sound. Together, we collected trash along the riverbanks, protecting wildlife habitats and ensuring clean, healthy water for our community. In total we collected about 200 lbs. of trash - enough to fill 20 bags! Thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and made a difference. Director of Public Safety Kellie Cournoyer this week took a hands-on approach to teaching students about the dangers of drunk driving.
