Youthful Spirit of Humanity Shines at Aligarh Institute’s Successful Blood Donation Drive A powerful and compassion-filled blood donation camp was successfully organized at Aligarh Institute of Technology, Karachi, aimed at collecting blood for children battling cancer under the care of the Child Aid Association (CAA). The camp was held through the joint efforts of AIT’s Department of (DIIL) ,the Guidance Center, and in collaboration with Child Aid Association. Speaking on the occasion, Principal AIT Shahid Jamil emphasized, “Every drop of blood has the potential to save an innocent life.” Tazeen Yousufi, Resource Development Manager at Child Aid Association, highlighted the organization’s mission, stating, “Child Aid Association is the first reputable institution in Pakistan offering 100% free cancer treatment to children.” She further explained, “This blood drive was crucial in collecting blood for pediatric cancer patients. Childhood cancer is different from adult cancer but is highly treatable if diagnosed and addressed in time. We are deeply grateful to Aligarh Institute of Technology for their overwhelming support from both students and staff.” Convener of AIT, Syed Muhammad Mohsin Kazim, described the event as “a golden opportunity to serve humanity,” and stressed the importance of actively engaging the youth in the betterment of society. The camp was inaugurated by Chancellor of Sir Syed University, Mr. Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan, and Mrs. Erum Akbar Khan. While visiting the camp, they expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and praised the initiative.
