We had the chance to attend the Lancaster Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Trade Show and Dinner, and Downtown Lancaster was well represented. It was an incredible night filled with community pride as businesses and individuals were recognized for their hard work and impact. We’re especially proud to highlight the winners connected to the downtown district and Destination Downtown Lancaster. 🏆 Small Business of the Year: Innerphase Video Productions A longtime DDL Legacy Member and Sponsor, Innerphase Video continues to be a creative leader in our community. 🏆 Large Business of the Year: Accurate Heating & Cooling & Plumbing Accurate is a DDL Legacy Sponsor and Member, and their commitment to excellence in their industry and community support is what downtown is all about. 🏆 Tammy Nusser Customer Service Award: Kelson Henwood Kelson works for The Lancaster Festival, one of downtown’s most beloved organizations, a valued partner ArtWalk, and a DDL Legacy Member. Her dedication to great service is a reflection of what makes downtown businesses so special. 🏆 Young Professional of the Year: Kate Smiley Kate is a valued DDL Board Member, a Park National Bank, Lancaster team member, and a proud downtown resident. She brings passion, leadership, and a strong sense of community to everything she does. 🏆 First Responder of the Year: Officer Charles “Chuck” Sims Chuck serves with the Lancaster Police Department and helps keep our downtown safe. He also does his best to keep Amanda in line—and we’re grateful for both. 🏆 2025 Chairman’s Award: Jerry Rainey Lancaster City Schools is a valued Champion member, SID property owner, and Jerry (begrudgingly) lets us use the roof their downtown building for pyrotechnics at the Glasstown Countdown and for that, we are incredibly grateful! 🏆 2025 Floyd Wolfe Community Service Award: Matt Wideman If you’ve been downtown, you’ve seen Matt. A friendly face and leader at downtown's Fairfield Federal, a committed DDL Legacy Member, Matt brings energy, kindness, and a spirit of volunteerism that uplifts the entire community. 🏆 Nonprofit Organization of the Year: Harcum House With compassion and resilience, Harcum House addresses some of our community’s most difficult challenges. Their presence at downtown events and outreach efforts ensure more people know about the essential work they do for children and families that makes our entire community stronger. Congratulations to all of this year’s honorees. Downtown Lancaster is stronger because of the people behind these names, and we’re proud to have them as part of the DDL family.
