On Saturday, May 31st, we hosted our Family Convening for home visiting families currently enrolled in the Flourishing Under Five program (January–June 2025 cohort). #Throwback to May 25 — our very first in-person Attachment Vitamins (AV) session at CAW! 🌟 Our Flourishing Under Five team was so excited to launch this series with our Maimai, French/Swahili, and Dari-speaking moms. Attachment Vitamins, developed by a team at the University of California, San Francisco, is a thoughtful curriculum that supports parents in understanding early childhood development and strengthening the parent-child bond. It also helps parents become more attuned to their children’s behaviors and emotional needs. Mother Africa advances racial equity through supporting African refugee and immigrant women and their families to reach their highest potential. Mother Africa focuses on innovative communityled approaches to helping women and their families on the path to their highest potential. Since 2013 we have listened to the needs of our community through direct outreach and grassroots programming. We partnered with local communitybased organizations governments and funders to extend a strong web of resources and deliver them in an equitable culturallysensitive way.
