Almost two weeks since the end of one of the best rugby seasons that the Portland Rugby Club has ever had! For the first time in 9 years, the men’s club was able to take home a league championship title and compete in super regionals. And for the first time in The Portland Rugby Club’s history: both the men’s and women’s+ teams competed together for the Pacific championship titles. We want to thank all of our supporters who cheered for us every game, rooted for us on social media, recommended us to their friends, and contributed to our fundraisers. None of this would’ve been possible without your belief and encouragement. Last but not least, all the love, respect, and admiration for all the players that devoted so much time, energy, and effort all year. Whether it was giving it your all at practice every week, taking care of so much administrative work to keep this club running, and/or putting your body on the line on match days. This club has never been stronger thanks to your dedication! Now it’s time to let our bodies rest for a while. But keep your eye out for events such as our annual general meeting, our summer tournament, off-season touch rugby, and eventually the beginning of the 2025-2026 season! Now that the bar has been raised, we can’t wait to surpass it next year!! (fb)
