"Start With Hello Week" is underway at Pawling Elementary School! Students kicked off the weeklong celebration today with assemblies complete with interactive presentations led by PES Counselor Mrs. Dommu and skits performed by Team Community: a group of third and fourth grade student leaders who have been learning about and sharing the Start With Hello message. Throughout the week, students will explore how small acts of kindness (like simply saying hello!) can make a big difference in helping everyone feel included and connected. Special area teachers and Team Community have also prepared themed activities and artwork to keep the message and positivity going all week long. We’re so proud of our young leaders for setting the tone for a week of friendship, inclusion and community spirit. Congratulations to Pawling High School artists Evie Jan and Justin Vazquez! 🎨✨ Evie (grade 11) earned second place and Justin (grade 12) received an honorable mention in the FrOGS Great Swamp Celebration’s Dunlop High School Artists’ Competition this weekend. The annual competition invites high school students to create art inspired by the wildlife, plants and landscapes of the Great Swamp. Entries are judged not only on technical skill but also on the emotional engagement and inspiration behind each piece. We’re so proud of Evie, Justin and all of the talented Pawling High School artists who entered pieces in this year's competition for representing Pawling with such heart!
