A little sunshine on a rainy day <3 It was a rainy shower day and Jamie was on the bus distributing clothing and other supplies. As she stood at the door waiting for the next friend, a woman ran up to the bus seemingly out of nowhere with a smile as big and bright as the sunshine! She introduced herself and said, "I don't need anything, when I saw your bus, I just had to stop and say thank you. Your team provided me and my son with meals and blankets a few times while we were living in our car but now, I have a good job, and we have our own apartment and life is good. Again, I just wanted to say thank you and let you all know how much you helped me, and that I was doing really good now. You all truly gave me hope! God Bless you all." And she walked away still smiling. Jamie could barely even tell her how proud of her we are before she was back in her car and off to live her good life 🥰 A meal and a blanket may seem like a small gesture to many of us, but to those we serve it is so much more than a meal and blanket.
