Update: After an exploratory surgery, no bowel obstruction was found. The vet does suspect that she consumed something she shouldn’t have and that caused some issues. She had been on laxatives for over a week and may have already passed the obstruction. Her small intestines, spleen and pancreas were very swollen. They confirmed she has pancreatitis. She is being treated for that and will get to come home tomorrow. While her prognosis is good, she has a tough road to recovery as he said she has a severe case and it will take time and managed care for her to fully recover.
