On Sunday, October 13th, Christian Fellowship Church in Ashburn screened a documentary, Jail Ministry, which featured their work as well as some of the offerings OAR has inside the Loudoun County ADC. Restorative Justice takes a village! Diana and Alexia were able to share our message and connect with church members and answer questions they had about our role in the criminal justice system. We had the privilege of participating in GMU's Criminology Internship Expo yesterday! Representing OAR, we had Diana, our Volunteer Coordinator, and our two fantastic interns, Ryan Hegewald and Ray Alfaro, sharing their experiences with their peers. We are always delighted to have new interns, and it is exceptional when they want to show others how important the work is. Thank you to Ryan and Ray!
