The Wyulda (Scaly-tailed Possum) is a specialist of rocky habitats, and has evolved a remarkable adaptation: a long, prehensile tail edged with keratinous scales. Their impressive tail enables them to grip branches, stabilise while climbing, and even hang by it to access food high in the canopy.
