Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA)
The Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and representing the interests of Army Aviation within the United States. The AAAA has a diverse membership base, comprising active-duty personnel, reserve components, government civilians, retirees, industry professionals, and individuals with an affinity for Army Aviation.
History and Purpose
Founded to provide a unified voice for the Army Aviation community, the AAAA focuses on enhancing the awareness and efficiencies within the field. The organization spans the globe with various chapters, fostering a strong network across different sectors related to Army Aviation.
Activities and Events

Annual Summit: The AAAA hosts an annual Summit, which is the only occasion where the entire Army Aviation community gathers to focus solely on Army Aviation issues. This event offers opportunities for networking, recognition, and engaging discussions on key topics affecting Army Aviation.

Cribbins Readiness Conference: This is a two-and-a-half-day in-person event aimed at supporting the entire Army Aviation Enterprise by bringing together trainers, operators, and policymakers.

Awards and Recognition: The AAAA offers various awards to recognize outstanding achievements in areas such as Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), Logistics, Fixed Wing, and Materiel Readiness.
Scholarships and Education
The AAAA Scholarship Foundation, a non-profit wing of the organization, provides financial assistance to members and their families pursuing higher education. Scholarships are awarded to current and deceased members' spouses, unmarried siblings, children, and grandchildren who meet the eligibility criteria. Contributions to the foundation are tax-deductible, and 100% of donations go towards scholarships or endowed principal.
Membership and Influence
With a membership consisting of over 20,000 individuals from varied backgrounds related to Army Aviation, the AAAA influences policy and decision-making through its membership in The Military Coalition, ensuring that voices of its members are heard by senior leaders and government officials.
Chapters and Operations
The AAAA operates through 78 chapters worldwide, fostering a broad and diverse network within the Army Aviation community. This structure allows for effective communication and collaboration among its members and stakeholders.

On March 13, 2025, the Gold Standard Chapter of AAAA and Army Reserve Aviation Command hosted the 2nd Annual Saint Michael Ball, drawing over 200 guests for an evening of recognition and camaraderie. Nine Bronze and one Knight-level Order of Saint Michael awards were presented, with BG Deon and COL (R) Doehring leading the ceremony. Keynote remarks by LTG Johnny Davis highlighted the value of partnerships in Army recruiting. The celebration wrapped with dancing and fellowship at Fiddlers Green. Earlier in the week, the chapter also supported ARAC’s Command Team Leader Training event. (fb)
