Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park in Cornish, NH wants to share an exciting opportunity for homeschool groups coming up this October 6! For the first time ever, the park will be hosting a special Homeschool Adventure Day on Monday October 6 for all homeschoolers up to age 18. From 9:30 am-12:30 pm we will be offering a variety of activities and learning opportunities for various age ranges and will cover topics including science, art, social studies, and language arts. *Some activities do require prior registration and will be filled on a first come, first served basis with no additional fee associated. An exciting (and free!) opportunity in the Peterborough area: I am a reading specialist doing my level 2 practicum for the Wilson Reading System. I need a group of 3 or 4 reliably available students around the Peterborough, NH area to work on my practicum with. The students need to be similar in reading ability (slightly behind grade level) and between grades 2-12. The sessions would take place three times a week for 90 minute increments after regular school hours (about 4 pm). I would like to extend this offer to all homeschooling groups in the area.
