UPDATE: GoFundMe is removing the unauthorized nonprofit pages! https://www.mnaonline.org/blog/2025/10/23/statement-from-gofundme#content-7030 We recently learned that GoFundMe auto-created 1.4 million fundraising pages for nonprofit organizations without contacting nonprofits for permission beforehand. Nonprofits: Please check the link in the comments to learn how to spot if you have been impacted and claim control of your fundraiser. Donors: Be cautious when using third-party platforms like GoFundMe to give to local causes. We always encourage you to give local whenever possible.
