We’re honoured to welcome Commodore Carolyn Stait CBE as one of our speakers at this year’s Armistice Address. Carolyn made history as the first woman to command a Naval Base in Britain, a role she held at HM Naval Base Clyde - no woman held a higher rank in the Royal Navy until 2015. At the Armistice Address, where the theme is ‘their service, their story,’ she will share her personal experiences from a distinguished career in the Navy and reflect on how service shaped her life beyond the military. She will also be joined by Principal Clinical Psychologist, Dr Vicky Aldridge from Combat Stress, who will provide expert insight on recovery from military trauma.
