SVS enjoyed a visit from BBC Spotlight recently, who were recording a piece highlighting Sidmouth residents aged over 90. Their reporter spoke to Corinne, Doreen and Pamela, just some of our over 90’s who come along to our lunch club. Community Transport Week 13-17 October 2025 This is a national event celebrating community transport around the country. At Sidmouth Voluntary Services we value everyone involved with our community transport. The theme for this year is “More than a minibus” and we certainly agree. It is about people as much as vehicles: • the volunteer driver who knows a passenger’s preferences • the coordinator who makes journeys possible • the passengers who value the journey as much as the destination.
